[V8] Front corner running lights

How do i replace these lights? I pulled off the connector and the bulb stayed in the socket. Do i have to remove the lense from the outside also which bulb number goes in the corner driving lights?? Also i replaced the headlights with the new SYLVANIA silver star lights what a difference. Was i correct the Headlights are the 9005 lights and highbeams 9006 lights.
