Rodger,
Not to worry you, but I cant see you getting more that 6 or 7 k for your
car. The market for our old cars just isn't very favorable even though
KBB says it is worth 9 or 13K. Believe it or not mine was worth 10.5K
when I bought it from the original owner for 6K with 75,000 original in
town miles.
The market just wont let you get that much, my friend. Supply and
demand is just a kick in the but sometimes.
Best of luck.

The wrench started the car on Saturday....working overtime, so that the
phone wouldn't ring. Last week was a disaster, with this diesel not
starting, that Volvo not starting, this Subaru clunked out...so my V8
sat in
the heated garage all by its lonesome waiting for the rest of the little
gizzies to arrive. Now, done, except for one more little piece of
rubber or
plastic, or umobtanium....from Audi.
I should have the car back tomorrow of Wednesday, and I will then start
to
make a decision about whether or not to sell it. I just visited the KBB
and
NADA Guides pages to see what the news was right now, for private party
sale
prices. Of course, the sale price is what you can get someone to pay
for
the car, and I am not sure what that might be. Low seems to be around
$9000
and high is over $13,000 delusional dollars. One thing is for sure and
that
is that this car is very, very near 100%, and ready for the next sixty
thousand or so, without error. It's all been DONE.
I can hardly wait to get it back!
Roger
