Ok, Economics 102

    1990 v8q, dkblue/grey - 125k - $1700 (w/taxes,title) - 3.5 years ago.

    6 months afterward (not unexpected) - over $2000 in new parts,
                                               my own labor of love.

    Since then - over $1300 in new parts, again, my labor.  Not 
                                               including tires and such.

    Now - 170k - runs like a champ

                Total cost of ownership : $5000 
                               Per year : $1430
                              Per month : $120
                               Per Mile : $0.11

I don't figure that is too bad considering I love the car, which is in
good shape other than the A/C and paint job, and I could wreck it right
now and still be on top - or I could sell it and maby get back half of the
total I have in it - Not too bad - of course I haven't got to enjoy the
car as long as some of the other veterans, but I wasn't old enough to
drive in 1990 anyway!
