The long time owner of my 92 4.2 sold it to buy a A6 4.2 at the urging
of his wife. Although his maint issues are far less, he wishes he had
the 4.2 back.
I've had the car a year now. Other than straightening out alignment
issues due to the lowering springs, I've had to do front brake pads and
a climate control fan. It needs a new oil pressure sensor (leaking-when
I bought it) and I'm putting new plugs in it - but that's it. I also had
to replace the power mirror memory module, but it was bad when I bought
it. The rear bose amps were replaced under warrenty and I have a front
one to repair now.
The S6 seats go in tomorrow. They cost more that I've put in the car the
whole year...
