System 3 works AWESOME. A bit of a squeal issue but two non-bira cars using
the same calipers also display the same squealing. Some minor mods to the
pads, tapering, cutting an anti-squeal groove, and glueing anti-squeal shims,
seems to knock the squeal done to a very minor level. In any case all 4 owners I
know personally using the Bira and non-BIRA all are definate that for the
braking improvement they can deal with the squealing. One other thing, one of cars
is running slotted rotors and its squeal level has never been more than an
occasional chirp.
Its not the pistons that need to be shortened, its the pins the pads rest
on. The 996 caliper used in Sys3 are for a 28mm rotor and the Euro A8 rotor is
30mm. The pins are slightly shortened to make up for it.
