... don't know ... frankly, don't care about whether or not the Ford parts
use the same patent ... the sensor looks visibly different ... quite
different. I have no doubt whatsoever that the voltage outputs from the
sensor are compatible, we are talking about electro-chemistry so that isn't
a surprise ... as I indicated in my original post IME the sensor works
except during that time during the warm up period. I suspect that the
thermal dynamics of the Ford device are different ... Ford's warm up
requirements may be somewhat different from those Bosch had for the parts
spec'ed for the Audis ...
... when I pull the thing off the car I'll take a picture of it ... it had
the proper threads and such, but the body of the sensor was much more narrow
...
