... nothing so involved ... probably just the brushes on the motor ...
temporary fix has been posted bunches of times ... wonder if anyone has put
it on the KB ... takes maybe 5 minutes ... you will need to change the
blower eventually ... thought I saw them on the specials at TPC ... that job
takes considerably longer ...

... the controller is mounted in an insulating cover next to the battery
under the rear seat.  They do go bad over time ... I was even able to fix
the one in #2 which had overheated.  If the moptor runs for too long
(probably in the many minutes to hours time frame, it will melt the plastic
parts in the motor that drives the pump ... you're in the BA ... if you'd
like we can hook up some time and I'll help you out with it ...
