My new F150 certainly has more kick than last year, I think it's up to 300HP
now with the 5.4L. It's so quiet, when you hit the throttle to pass, it
gets up and goes and then you look down as you are pulling back into the
lane and your doing 90 mph, with little sensation of the extra speed. The
ride is superb and extremely quiet, even quieter than my V8 with 140K. I
still get comments from people who ride in the V8 about how quite and smooth
it is, no one can believe the car is
15 years old.

speaking of the "Hemi". my truck was in for service, so they gave me a
rental. A new hemi pickup, first time I hit that thing to pass somebody it
took off like a rocket :) I was doing 65 when I pulled out to pass the
semi, by the time I was by it and pulling back in, I was at 90, woops...

like driving my old 70 monte carlo SS, woohoo :)

unfortuntely the power was the only thing I liked it about :( my f250 has a
smnoother ride, quiter and more comfortable.. BUT IT WAS STILL FUN to whack
the gas on that thing :) hehehe..
