[V8] Coolant leak.

The sensors you are talking about are the engine speed sensors.  I think a leak in the rear head coolant lines would pour down over those.  At the back of the engine the heater hoses attach to a set of metal pipes, which attach to the head and are sealed with o-rings.  Other listers have reported a coolant leak at the o-rings.  Take the plastic engine cover and plastic air box off.  This will allow you to see what I am talking about and better diagnose the problem.  Hope this helps.
