Scott, you lucky bas... OOPS! ;-)  The K1200RS is a fantastic bike ... so
smooth, so powerful ... if I didn't already have a '92 k1 I might well be
riding one of them myself!  I fell in love with the Blue/Silver k1 the first
time I saw it ... while it has its niggles I love the styling and
practicality so much I can't justify a replacement!  That said, I've got an
article on the 2005 K1200S sitting open on my desk right now ... that baby's
got almost as much horsepower as my urq!!!

What model BMW Bike do you own?  I liked the article about brakes a lot.
THis is quite valuable to know, but try to tell this to you mechanic.
