Hi all,
Anyone interested in this load of parts on eBay. It's all good stuff for a
V8'er.. If you haven't seen the auction, it includes the following:
NEW Prop-shaft Gaskets - These parts are also tough to find, had to ship them
from across the country. Part# 8D0 407 309 (made in Germany) Again, got em'
from the dealer because no one else had them..
NEW Serpentine Belt - Top quality ContiTECH belt.
NEW oil filter - Top quality Mann filter - I never used the "orange" filters,
only these.
NEW Dust boots for Front Struts - If yours are ripped, these would be great to
keep the sand and road grime from where it shouldn't be..
New Ignition Rotor - Hey, this is a cheapie that I kept around for an
emergency - I'm sure it would get you out of a jam if necessary. It's a Wells
Part # 9B947
K&N Filter and Recharge Kit - The filter was installed and used for about two
years, but in good condition (these are supposed to last a good long time..)
The kit is brand new, never been used on this filter or any other.. I don't
know why I ever opened the box.. I have the receipt and was over $50 (if you
want, I will include the receipt with shipment).
Climate Control Box - This I picked up used as a backup unit.. I believe it's
out of a 1990 Audi 200, but should interchange with the V8's, no problem..
The part number on the unit is: 443-820-043F, Date: 02-02-90. The one in my
car worked fine, so I never had the opportunity to use this (like I said, I
just picked it up as a spare for probably 10-20 bucks..?
NEW CV Boot (partial) Kit - This too was an "extra" that I planned on having
installed. I can't find the axle bolt, but everything else seems to be there.
Including the new retainer that you must replaced when installed (in the
orignal plastic pouch).
NEW Lock Repair Kit - If the lock cores on your V8 or 200 are just spinning
freely but aren't opening the locks, this is the complete kit they recommend.
I got these parts from the Audi dealer, and it cost me over $50.
I hope I'm not being out of line by wanting to get at least $75 (+ U pay
shipping, est $12.00) out of it all.. Seem fair? Send me an email if
interested..
Thanks,
Mike
