[V8] hot start problem which sensor

  Listers,

  This morning I had the classic hot start symptom,
 I'm a roofer so i meet the guy's at a local coffee
house & went to leave but the car wouldn't start, so I
did a spark test & got no spark from either pass side
or driver side spark plugs. So after about an hour the
car finally started,
 so from other peoples BTDT I come to the conclusion
it's the sensor. But since I'm new to V8's I'm not
sure which one. 
 I just want to know if it's the ignition reference
sensor (G4),
 or the engine speed sender (G28). I tried to search
the archives but they are a mess.
 I appreciate the lists wisdom.
