I installed the competition limited wiring harness, 
http://www.hioutputbulbs.com/, on my V8 a while back and it improved the 
output a little with the stock bulbs. The really nice thing about it is that  
allows you to put in higher wattage bulbs. If you really want lots of light 
then you will have to get euro style headlights and a wiring harness. You can 
pick up euros from a german ebay.de lister for around $300 to $400, and you 
will need a wiring harness. Haven't looked into what harness goes with the 
euro lights.
