Jason - I'm curious to know how you did this.

I've shopped the parts pretty carefully, and still wind up in the mid fives.

How do you manage the no tools part? (Well, the no-SPECIAL-tools part, 
anyway - I know you've gotta have a selection of regular tools . . . )

How long did it take? Procedure? Special tricks?
