[V8] input is appreciated

[Hoffman Anthony J A1C 552 CMS/MXMVC]

No, the display is supposed to go away if ther is already a failure. My
parts car and my friends car both work correctly, and that is what the
manual says is supposed to happen.

... isn't that what it is supposed to do?  When you push the check button
the diagnostic computer cycles through all the output displays ...
