Hi Tony,

I have screwdrivers, a 100 piece Craftsman Metric set and that is about
all. I will be e-mailing the list for assistance and to see who out
there can give me the best rental price for the TBelt tools. Regarding
the TBelt, what would you say is the absolute most indispensable thing I
should purchase for the TBelt job? I would love to buy every part I can
replace at the moment but I am financially not in a position to do so.
I will definitely purchase the TBelt, Serpentine belt (cracked), water
pump...is there anything else in there that is *indispensable* in
replacing? Please let me know.

>From there, this is what I have and will buy to replace on the vehicle:

1. TBelt and anything associated that I will be able to afford
2. Serpentine Belt
3. New 02 Sensor (have already)
4. Fuel Pressure Regulator (Best Place to buy?)
5. Spark Plugs (What do you recommend?)
6. Valve Cover Gaskets (Leaking)
7. Air and Gas filter

The Engine and RPM Sensors I will have to do later when I can purchase
them, maybe my first DIY job on the V8. For now, it seems that if I
always keep my tank full of gas, the car, even when hot, will start OK.
Also, I will need a front passenger side tie rod which I will also do in
the future.

Question, I do get an oil/fluid smell inside the vehicle through the
vents every once in a while. Is this a small rotted hose that can be
changed?

Laundry list is long (I could go on) but taking care of the major stuff
is probably the best thing I can do and then little by little take care
of the smaller stuff. The car does drive well and has not let me down
in 7 months of ownership.

Anyway, I have copied the list because I want the list to know what you
are doing for a fellow lister. I *really* appreciate you taking time
away from your vacation to work on my beloved V8. It will not go
unnoticed. I look forward to hearing from you. Take care,

Zay,
Getting ready to start packing. We are leaving Saturday morning, and
should
be in sometime late Saturday(about 17 hrs). Well be there till the next
Sat.
Let me know what you are planning on replacing, and I'll bring any
special
tools I might have. Also, how many "normal" tools do you have?
