[V8] Windshield Replacements (Re-Post)

... from my recent experience it was my understanding that the dealers don't
*install* windshields ... I'm pretty sure that they can and do supply them
to installers on request ... 

... the windshield on #344 was also installed by Safelite ... which was the
supplier my insurance company used ... in my case I don't think they got the
glass from a dealer, but it was exactly the same Sigla part that is
installed on the other car ... i.e. the original windshield ... the guy who
installed the windshield seemed to be pretty knowledgeable about the
business ... he told me that getting Sigla parts is getting less common
(from Safelite anyway).
