... funny, when I had a chance I was going to post a response on this one
... YUP ... BTDT on #2 not so long after the engine swap. I don't know
about the P/N ... s'pose I should try loading that new version of TFA I got
the other day ...
The thing is, it is a return line, so you don't have to deal with high
pressure ... you should be able to pull the hose, replace the rubber section
and use standard adjustable hose clamps and re-install. Since I needed to
get the car up right away and wasn't sure I bought a new hose from Audi.
Not too long afterward I got a leak from the return line that goes from the
other end of the hard line to the reservoir ... and there I did use the
FLAPS hose. The stuff I used is labeled to be for automatic transmission
use ... Note that in both cases there is a metal crimp that you need to
remove ... I opened it up with a Dremel tool myself ...
