(With a booming voice like Ed McMann) You are CORRECT, sir.
So I have been trying to remove the banjo bolt for the last 2 hrs...
(OK, those of you that have done this before, stop laughing please)
I can't get that sonofaB off of there! The only thing I have done
successfully is to tear the 'ears' off the bolt. What's the trick?
To give myself maximum room to work, I have removed the coil,
accelerator cable, air duct, and the distributor (plus rotor). Still
can't get enough bite/torque on that rear banjo bolt. Ratchet doesn't
fit down there, so I have been using a crescent wrench. At one point I
had myself convinced that it was a left-hand thread... :-)
Once it's out, I will have it rebuilt... It's the getting it out that's
the trick part.
Any advice? Please? Before I start throwing things... :-)
Thanks in advance,
- Jeremy

Your hose clamp won't do much good on that one. It's the high pressure
hose from the pump to the rack.
