[V8] SMOG MIL Problem w 90 V8 Quattro

Just installing the lamp is not enough. There is a connector that must be 
located and connected. I think it is accessed from the center console - behind 
the radio but I have never found both halves. I don't see how they can flunk 
you for a system that technically (and proveably) does not exist for that model 
year.
It says right in the manual that only CA cars have this MIL function enabled.
