Oh, yes.  And that leads to an entirely different topic:  what to do with
the car once it returns.

The truth is that the V8 really doesn't do a whole lot for me, in terms of
what I really "need" in a vehicle.  Probably the "best" vehicle that I have
driven in the past year or so for my real world needs, was the new Ford
F-350 Supercab/long bed diesel that I tried out for chuckles and grins one
afternoon.  More often than not, I need to carry stuff for one project or
another, haul a trailer full of something or other...Obviously the V8 fails
at all of those things, except carryiing one to four people over distance in
all weather.

But I no matter what the final tab on the V8 is, I am still not into it for
"real" automotive money at this point, and when I do need to go somewhere in
something that approaches real style, then the V8 is a slick machine.  And
the real question is, if I plan to sell it, what will I get in its place?

Probably what will happen is this.  This next early fall, I will take the
car to the annual rare and exotic car auction at the Owl's Head
Transportation, and either sell it there on auction, or possibly, donate it
and take the tax deduction.

But of course, when it is right, it is a treat to drive.  Once it is back, I
may just fall in love again, and continue to drive it until something else
(expensive) fails, and then I will start wailing all over again.
