[V8] help pleaes!!!

My buddy just did a 'fan delete kit' for his '95 M3 (against my better
judgment, but not his...) :-)
He made a tool to hold the pulley and then used a 32mm wrench (just a
hair larger than 1.25") to get the reverse thread nut off.
Here is a pic he modeled his tool after:

The two holes hold 2 of the 4 nuts on the pulley and the half moon
clears the center hub.
Not sure if any of this applies to the V8... :-)

down on
an old serpentine belt with a pair of vise grips ... couldn't get enough
grip to keep the pulley from spinning ... ended up with the adjustable
pin
spanner that the manual calls for. I think the nut on the damper
assembly
is 1.25" ... using those tools the thing comes apart right away ...
remembering that it has a right handed thread of course ...
