[V8] V8 Rev limit?

I hit the limiter all the time. If it is doing its job, there is no damage done.
Maybe I have slow reaction time, but it is pretty hard to do a full throttle 1-
>2 shift without bouncing off the limiter occasionally.
The stock limiter is pretty soft - it does not just cut off the motor but hangs 
right at the limit.
