SV: [V8] V8 Rev limit?

I have not paid that much attention - but I am pretty sure the rev limiter on 
my '91 5 speed is active right at the first red line on the tach.
It seems to have plenty of margin to protect the motor.
No idea if the 4.2 motor or automatic is the same.
