Thanks all to who have responded to my request on this e-bay listing.  After numerous conversations and the swell support from everyone on the list, I'm not going to bid any higher.
 
I'll continue to look for other 5-speeds that are much cleaner and do not have soo many problems.

It also states that there is a receipt for a new engine under warranty 
at 28k.  I think it's already at about 4500 with the reserve still not 
met.  They don't make any statements about accidents or body work, just 
that the general condition of the exterior is good.  Lies of ommission?  
Hard to say, but I would think most anyone could find that tacky body 
work on the left rear corner.
