[V8] FW: 1990 Audi V8 Quattro

Ignore it.  This won't be the first of these bullcrap emails you'll receive.

In fact, for the heck of it, I pretended to bite and respond to one of these when selling my pickup a couple months ago.  I was all salivating at such a wonderful opportunity and sure enough, after several oddly-worded emails, I received (at my work address of course) a cashier's check for 2x the asking price.  I still have it sitting here -- you KNOW it's no good, but that's not to be found out until you've already sent back 1/2 of it).

The "check" is drawn on Greensburg Deposit Bank in KY, but is addressed by obviously foreign means.  The stamps are from West Lothian, whatever/wherever that is.  Maybe some day I'll take the check to the bank and ask them to validate its authenticity, but with the exception of one very poorly drafted threat email ("judgement day is coming, etc.etc.") a month or two ago, I haven't heard anything since, so I'd bet the house it's a fraud.

You'll know a real inquiry when it comes.
