Be sure to positively ID the noise. This sounds like it may be the "aspirator"
fan which is located under the crash pad. They can really squeal. It is also
possible to oil this motor but you have to remove the crash pad. DO NOT spray
oil down the little vent hole on the dash. You will just make a big mess and
not solve the problem.
If it is the main blower motor, many have had success by squirting oil into the
motor vent hole but keep in mind that you will get to smell this oil when the
A/C is on. That may not be pleasant.
