Thanks again for everyone's replies. I have to emphasize how
mechanically illiterate I am. 1. The crash pad...Where is it located?
2. How easy is removal? 3. What does the aspirator fan look like? 4.
is the motor vent hole the same hole I am unplugging within the cowl to
spray WD40 onto the blower motor?...the noise is not a squeal, it is
definitely more of a rubbing/grinding/dry bearing type sound. 5. Also,
when the CC is turned on, I can hear something within the engine
compartment *clunk* and *squeal*...could this be the ac compressor
clutch and if so is there a way to tighten it, and how would you tighten
it??? Sorry for all the questions, answers with descriptions greatly
appreciated.

Be sure to positively ID the noise. This sounds like it may be the
"aspirator"
fan which is located under the crash pad. They can really squeal. It is
also
possible to oil this motor but you have to remove the crash pad. DO NOT
spray
oil down the little vent hole on the dash. You will just make a big mess
and
not solve the problem.
If it is the main blower motor, many have had success by squirting oil
into the
motor vent hole but keep in mind that you will get to smell this oil
when the
A/C is on. That may not be pleasant.
