Zay, if the TB was done by someone other than the dealer, it wouldn't
show in their system...  See if you can get those guys on CSI Las Vegas
to analyze your belt and let you know how many miles are on it :-)

Seriously though, there is no way of telling when it was done (or
whether it was done right, I think Steven experienced this one), unless
you are willing to bet the contents of your savings account...  

Assume it is going to fail, drive like a granny, and get it done as soon
as possible if there is any doubt as to its history.  I think (correct
me if I am wrong guys) you can have it done at a shop for around $1k.
Much less if you do it yourself (and from what has been said on this
list before, it is not as easy as changing the oil, but not too
incredible difficult with the proper instructions, parts, and tools).

You are looking at way more than $1k if the TB pops loose and starts
bending valves; am much more complicated do-it-yourselfer project than
the TB...
