Which setting are you looking at, instantaneous or average reading? The
instant reading runs all over the scale.
My 90 with the autobox will get, according to the average readout, 22 or 23
mpg at 75 mph highway cruise. My driving is typically 75% highway, 25%
city, I have 35 miles, each way to work, mostly highway. My average after a
tank of the above driving is 18-19 mpg. Running in sport mode in town will
decrease those numbers a bit ;-) !

Subject: [V8] low fuel milage on display.
Just finished my first week of driving nothing but the V8. I must say, if I
wasn't in love before I am now. I have noticed thought that sometimes, the
fuel milage displayed on the display, at level constant highway speeds is as
low as 10MPG, where it normally says 20-24 MPG. Could this be an indication
that the oxygen sensor is going or something else. I have noticed though
that I only get about 260 miles out of a tank of gas (average of 14 MPG).
Is that a little low or should I expect better? Most of my driving is
highway, with only a small amount in the city.
Thanks all.
Kyle
