[V8] Hood latch proceedure for broken latch wire??

There are two levers that have to move toward the center of the hood to
release the latch.  I've read here that longish screwdrivers and/or long
prybars can be worked through from underneath (with the belly pan off, of
course) to move the levers toward eachother enough to get the first hood
release.
