[V8] Summer tires for A8 16 X 7 rims

I thought that I'd just poll fellow listers for thoughts/comments on tires before I spend my money.

I picked up some used but nice 16 X 7 rims off of an '97 A8.......they're the 5-spoke variety and apparently fit the UFO-equipped cars.

I have a separate set of dedicated winter tires so I'm just looking for performance summer tires...........at a decent price.

At the moment I'm leaning towards a set of Yokohama AVS ES100 for $356 total through www.tire.com (free shipping).

I'm planning on buying 225/50 WR 16 size tires.

Comments anyone?
