[V8] Motronic ECU to Shift Lever Wiring Question

If I had to guess, I think that pin gets grounded by the selector switch.
It is hard for me to read the switch schematic but I think current track
410(ground) gets connected to current track 411 at some point - which is your
ECU pin 42. An ohm meter should confirm or deny this.
