[V8] Steering Rack Hose - report

Sure enough, it is tight in there and it turns out I was clueless and left
the washer/seal out.  It was the return hose that was missing the washer,
which now that I think about it would explain why it continued to leak when
the car was stationary – fluid dripping straight out of the reservoir.

 

Ended up buying a closed end 19mm ratchet from Sears – it was small enough
to get in and fine toothed enough to turn the miniscule 5° per turn –
couldn’t have done it with a regular 19mm wrench because there was not
enough turning space.

 

Anyway, hopefully I now have a leak free V8 again.  Anyone know the best
product for cleaning p/s fluid off the driveway?
