[V8] Engine Noise?

>From my own car as the standard, you should change the bearing every second
t-belt job. Others on this list however have gone further with no problem. To
me, 120K miles on a sealed bearing is plenty though. I tend to replace them as a
service item - especially if they are hard to get to. I have also replace my
alternator and t-belt idlers even though they seemed fine. I have not replaced
the accessory belt idlers because they are easy to get to and replace when they
fail.
