[V8] Re: Debate 200 20V vs. v8

Probably didn't make sense to develop a whole new chassis for their first
foray into V8 power.  Likely knowing there would eventually be three "tiers"
of offerings (A4, A6, A8) to compete better w/ BMW and MB - this was a good
segue.  And the V8 seems to be clearly a higher end offering - in terms of
their Vorsprung der technik (sp?) philosophy - first quattro w/ auto, Torsen
rear diff, V8 engine.

My opinion.....
