[V8] Power steering pump

I replaced my power steering pump about a month ago with 130,000 miles on 
the car.

1. Remove the serpertine belt.

2. remove the electric radiator fan (2 bolt) lift and lay it aside

3. Remove the left timing belt cover two allen bolts (6mm iirc) and also the 
two spacer behind the timing belt cover

4. remove all hoses to the pump

5. remove the two bolts holding the power steering front bracket.

6. A gear wrench would be nice for the next steps. Remove the power steering 
rear bolts starting with the one not covered by the dipstick.

7. Use the gear wrench to remove the bolt in front of the dipstick. Loosen 
the bolt and as the bolt approach the dipstick pull the pump forward to get 
more room.  Otherwise you will have to remove the dipstick to get to the 
bolt.

8. remove the pump by pulling forward and rotating up 90 degree.

9. transfer the pulley and front mount to the new/remanufacture pump.

10. Replace in reverse order

Tools required grear wrench (10mm, 13mm iirc) , allen key/socket (6mm iirc), 
gear/pulley puller to remove the pulley.

actually you can leave the pulley in place. removing the left timing belt
cover is the key
