[V8] Re: heat source resolved?

I think I have figured out that Tony is probably right.  I'm going to have to do more investigating, but it did feel like the heat was coming from around the steering boot, as in there isn't one around the column that comes from the steering wheel.  It's the bare metal down there, and it is quite warm.  Any way to fix this?
I still think that changing my O2 sensor will help the other problems.  I'll keep everyone posted.
