[V8] 1990 V8 Door panel

Start by 'loosening' the 3 Allen screws found in the holes in the bottom
side of the arm rest (don't take them all the way out as they operate a
'pinch plate' to hold the armrest on).  With the arm rest off, you now
have access to the window switch; remove the switch from the plug.  As
you look at the plug, you will see it is 2 parts clipped together.  The
one half that has 2 wires goes to the window motor.  You can test the
window motor by hooking up 12V (I use a 9.6v Makita battery); by
changing the polarity, you can make it go up or down.

Now you know if it is the motor or (more likely) the switch.  You can
borrow the switch from the other rear window to test this out.

To pull the panel completely off, there is also a Philips screw you can
see if you pull the chrome door handle out (as if you are opening the
door).  2 more Philips screws on each 'end' of the door panel near the
top.  Now you just need to pop all the plastic clips loose around the
perimeter of the door panel.

BTW, some have had good luck drilling small holes in the sides of the
switch and squirting contact enhancer in there...
