Yeah, that would be me. Drove it with the 1800RPM limit until it died
for good. Had to replace the flywheel, problem was caused by the starter
shaft wearing and not hitting the teeth straight on the flywheel,
chipping a few in the process.
I would suggest checking the teeth through the small hole in the bottom,
or, to get a really good look (less eye and neck strain) pull the starter
and check the teeth through the starter hole. I didn't actually have any
completely missing teeth, they had chipped pieces off, the worse of them
had maybe 1/4 of the tooth left. One of them had bent over and was
almost flat against the ring, first time I'd ever seen one do that.
