already invited him to join the list, was getting ready to make an offer
on the car until I got to the automatic transmission part.  $14bills for
a brake job sans calipers  8-0

I told him I was posting this, hopefully he'll join the list, it's a real

My brother has a 1991 Euro model,winter autobahn package,V8 4.2 liter,now
is this part compatible with the 3.6?do you have any info on where to get
a full catalog of stuff for this car,it has been a real hassle finding
any info for this vehicle.of course if he can keep it that would be the
best thing,he just spent 1400.00 to get the brakes done,yes 1400.00
dollars,and that did not include new calipers,this is a rare machine,Audi
mechanics are afraid of this one,hard to work on,hard to find parts,this
is basicallyt a factory race car,i stole that quote from a Audi Factory
Mechanic:) he also had the trans rewbuilt,but it still needs help,do you
know any quality mechanics in the Chicago area,
any help on this rare and beautiful machine would be appreciated.
