I had my 5spd done at German Transaxle in Bend Oregon. I pulled it out
and shipped it to them. They had some trouble with mine - mostly
because it looks just like a plain old vanilla 016 but there are subtle
differences - like the reverse gear is a different ratio. Overall they
were fine I think though. My symptom was also a noisy 2nd gear, and now
it does not grind but it is not exactly butter smooth either.
No oil leaks though - and it overall seems just fine. I would recommend
them.
