>From personal experience, sometimes you'll get lucky and it'll seem to
fix a transmission problem....for a while, the problem will resurface
soon enough.  Had a sticking solenoid which seemed to be cured after a
synthetic changeover, didn't last too long though, solenoid started
sticking again after a couple of months, changing the solenoid was the
only permanent fix.
