Also, as an aside, there was bright point on my whole fiasco, and that was  
when I was checking out the OX Sensor wires for proper connection that I  
pulled the Servotronic plug for fun, and went for drive intending to double  check 
idle stability. 
I must say I wish I had done it 2 years ago. The dead on center feeling is  
gone, and though turn in now takes a bit more effort I can say the better "road 
 feel" far outweighs the lack of extra assist at low speeds.
It made me very happy that it finally steered like my first V8, which  is to 
say great.
Effort, maybe 50% higher, though I have 14.5" inch Momo wheel and 235's,  was 
still in the ball park of not making my wife freak if she drives it.
