[V8] cruise control not working!

Hi all
 Thanks 4 all ur help with the widows after spliceing new wires in all  seems 
well.
But now the c/c has stoped working and here's the problem!
My owners manual says the fuse is number 26 ;
But mine is a uk car and on the fuse box cover it lists number  26 as gearbox 
speed control and dose not list a fuse for the  c/c at all ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is there something i am missing ?
Any help please
