1990 V8Q for sale.

I took delivery of a beautiful 2000 A8L this week, so the wonderful old V8 has to go to a new home.  I've had this car for over 10 years and most of it's miles.  Before I publicly list it I will offer it to the List.  This car is without any doubt the finest car I have ever owned.  It has been one of the least costly cars I have ever owned.  It has never had any major work done on it.  A rack, a bearing, brakes, hydraulic pump, timing belts, water pump, basic maintenance, that kind of stuff only. Here are some of the highlights. Here are some of the highlights of the car.
1990 Audi V8 Quattro

  a.. VIN WAUKE5443LN039741 Manufacture date is 11/89
  b.. Pearl White with Platinum Gray leather. The interior is in particularly good condition.  No seat cracking or tearing.  Back seats rarely used.  
  c.. 266k well maintained, all highway miles
  d.. The car is 100% intact. No crashes, significant body work, accidents. Check the CarFax.
  e.. UFOs were swapped out under warranty at ~1300 miles
  f.. Strong engine, burns no oil, but never driven hard, either
  g.. No transmission issues, never opened, shifts smoothly. ATF has been changed.
  h.. No limp home activities.  One winter, several years ago, when temps fell below -30F it did limp a couple of times. Always corrected by a shut down and restart.  
  i.. No leaks
  j.. No engine failures & never opened
  k.. All gages work
  l.. Computer works as it should. 
  m.. Original built in radar that still gets daily use-see the picture of the Engine Compartment to see the transponder
  n.. Bose Delta II-not original-buttons need new sponges installed. This stereo still beats most of the crap put in cars today. Antennas (2) intact and functioning.  AM and FM work, as does tape player.
  o.. Speakers electrically rebuilt (by me) recently so they are all functional. No crackles, squeals, etc.
  p.. Original Built in Motorola analog is in use today and it works better than any of those cheap digital toys
  q.. Original exhaust system-yes, original, and solid.  I had the saddle clamps replaced with solid pipe two years ago
  r.. Only Pentosin ever used in hydraulic system
  s.. All records from new; every gallon of gas, all oil changes, all parts and all expenses invested.  Came from Carousel in Minneapolis.  Have POs data, too.
  t.. Comes with Family Album, two volume bound dealer's paper manual
  u.. Comes with Audi microfiche manual and a fiche reader
  v.. Comes with all original documentation including bound manual, radio book, phone book,  V8 audio tape with cool V8 sound effects, lighted key, spare key
  w.. Second owner but I know who first owner is
  x.. Interior leather complete with no holes or tears, cracks or worn out spots.  
  y.. Carpets always covered but show expected wear for a car of this age.  
  z.. Headliner clean and undamaged.
  aa.. Doors clean and panels undamaged.
  ab.. Driver's side seat has been re-piped.  Seat heat functions daily. 
  ac.. Memory seat and all door controls work as they should.  Door wires repaired some time ago.
  ad.. All window lifts, lights, dash lamps and services work as they should, really!
  ae.. All glass is intact.  Windshield is original so it is somewhat sand blasted. No cracks anywhere
  af.. All lamp lenses are intact, plastic and glass.  Some have been replaced due to aging. Fogs work, front and rear.
  ag.. Has lifetime guaranty Jorgen rack in it
  ah.. Heat and AC completely functional and no weird stuff or control issues. Temp displays correctly.
  ai.. No funny noises, vibrations, rattles, beyond worn tire sounds.
  aj.. Comes with original tools, jack, full size spare on painted aluminum wheel that is just like the ones in the pictures
  ak.. This car has never been driven hard.  Since 60K miles I have done all maintenance on it, personally.  Plus I have the records from the first owner showing every item of maintenance and communications Carousel in Minneapolis.  You might gather from all of this that I am rather anal about records.  I am.  I log every gallon of gas, every adjustment or repair, every part, every expense, oil change and every tire pressure check, so this car comes with records.  All of them.
  al.. I also have a few miscellaneous parts, spare headlamp stalk switch ($300 last I looked), window lift pieces, etc., that can go with the car.
  am.. The original window sticker is in the list of pictures.  Download it rather than having IE open it.  It opens quite nicely, with great detail, showing original options, standard items, and price, if you use Kodak Imaging or Paint to open it.  It is a .BMP.
What does it need?

  a.. A new home
  b.. Timing belt
  c.. Tires, right away. These Dunlops are very noisy and worn out
  d.. If someone wanted to make this a long term car the body would love to be repainted.  There is surface rust (seen in pix) on the rear fenders, in the usual spots above the rear bumper, below the headlamps where stones ding up the paint.  I've put some white paint on that you can see just to improve the appearance.  There are NO holes in the body anywhere.
This is my personal daily driver.  No kids, no wife drive this car. I drive highway I94 60 miles round trip daily.  I'm not trying to pass this off as a pristine car.  It is not.  It has been used every day.  It is not quirky.  Call or email me with questions, please.
