[V8] ABS light on

Hi all
Just a quick one i hope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Went to get the v8 out of the garage last night and the battery was dead so  
i had to jump it off the wife's ford.
But being in a rush and pestered by kids i put the + on the - and so on  
........................
Soon swapped them over once i sussed it and started the car, but now iv got  
the abs light on.
I don't want to go trying things and make things worse so thought i would  
ask first .
Any ideas?
