Doesn't Jorgen rebuild or swap for your core for $250?
I thought that was the last info I saw...
Hope so, otherwise that spare rack in my garage is just a messy paperweight.

Hmm. Note: Rebuild kit will run you ~$90-$150. If you're good with lotsa
O-rings et al then that might be a good solution, though you will also have
to buy a new boot and before you even THINK about rebuilding the rack
yourself, make sure the exposed rod doesn't have any appreciable wear --
otherwise you're just wasting your $$$. I'd suggest a reman unit for all
the work involved in removing and replacing the rack.
