[V8] Sudden no start - suggestions?

On more than one occasion has a no-start cropped up after even exterior
washing due to water in the TPS switch.  Also, if the cowl gasket or the
windshield wiper gasket isn't just so, I'm pretty sure its easy to get
water on one of the distributors.  Granted it'd probably start, albeit
farting and belching in protest.  Not your situation...

Plus random stuff like that has set off seemingly unrelated codes.
