I had that problem on my '89 200. Be careful, because my hoses
blew out, spewing oil all over the place. After tyring used parts,
I chucked it all and went with an aftermarket solution.

Lots of people on the general quattro list have successfully
replaced leaking hydraulic hoses by putting new hoses on the
old metal connections. Because of the hydraulic pressure
involved and clamping forces required, they have it done at
a local hydraulics shop (truck stop, John Deere, etc). Maybe
you could do the same with the oil cooler hoses -- reuse the
old connectors with new hose.
